I'm just getting into long range shooting, and am trying to get a gun for 600yd target shooting. There is a group that meets weekly at our club that have a competition I would like to join. I've been thinking I would go with the 6.5 Creedmoor because I've heard it has a good bc, doesn't kick very much, is easy to reload and it's easy on barrels. I see on this forum that the 6mmBR is admired. Any thoughts as to which makes more sense for my application. At this point, I don't think it would be as easy to find ammo or reloading supplies for the 6. Any good information would be appreciated.

If I go with the 6Norma BR, I am liking the Savage 12LRPV. Any experience with this gun would also be appreciated. If I go with the 6.5 Creedmoor, I'm looking at their 12 Palma custom ordered with a 26" SS barrel w/ 1 in 8 twist.

Thanks for your help,
Rod
