Best 280 AI brass

I have over 14 reloads on Nosler brass in my sons 280ai. Now I am only running 56.5 grains of 4831SC pushing a 168 ABLR around 2711fps. I have never annealed any of them. I have another 200 pieces waiting to start a new load hoping it last as good as the first batch.
56.5 at 2711 is a very very mild load. Brass is bound to last a very long time. 4831SC and the 168 definitely seems like a sweet spot in the 280AI.

Peterson is very good brass. I shoot mostly max/near max loads and it holds up very well. I waited a long time to purchase and am thankful to get a few hundred cases. Before I was using Nosler brass. After 3 or 4 firings the primer pockets would enlarge. Like the one post said whatever you can get a hold of will have to work.

I got 200 Pieces of Peterson for my 280AI. I havent had a chance to work up a load yet. Hopefully this spring. I'm hoping to work up a load with RL26 with either 150 or 160gr accubonds.

160gr AB's pushed by 59gr RL26 is a very good load for me that I'm still tweaking

I did end up with 150 Peterson. Still waiting for my rifle to be rebarreled. When I finally get it back, I'll start on loads.
