Berger 22cal. 90gr. VLD

mikebob, your 8tw works -at 1800' of altitude, as Buffalo OK is, but it's stability is marginal @ Sg 1.2(not 0.6). Berger is right about 7tw being best, providing Sg 1.5 (regardless of velocity).
Problem you would have is occasional blowups with 7tw and 3322fps and Berger hunting VLDs.

Overbore 22s and heaviest in cal bullets have ALWAYS led to a narrow window condition between best stability and jacket failures. This has held longer than I've been alive.
But hey that's of choices made.

So I was trying to find these bullets and I came across an article that said they are discontinued. So does anyone have experience with the 90 grain matchkings? Or should a guy just go 6x284 and the 115's

I shot the 90gr smk just the same very accurate and shot fine to 1400 but I switch to vld when they came out because it had higher BC.

I also tried 80 amax and vld. The 80 amax shot 1 hole groups consistently
