Bergara prefit barrel

I am thinking of a rebarrel for my B-14. I've seen a few barrels makers offer it with the nut system like a savage. But, carbon six offers a shouldered prefit. Is this as simple to install as a barrel nut system? Do you just tighten it until the headspace is correct?

I believe these are intended to be cut to fit. Trim the shoulder until headspace is correct.
