Hello everyone. New to the group and great to be onboard. Today finally got my hands on BMP 308. I'm having a hard time finding what picatini rail to get and where. Any input on what and if I should get muzzle brake for it?
Tks in advance for any input!

From Bergara's website, Bergara rifles can use Remington 700 bases/rails with 8-40 screws. I prefer Nightforce, but you can use any base you wish. You can find rails at Bass Pro, Cabela's, Academy Sports, etc. You an also do an internet search for R700 rails to find something you like.

With a .308, I wouldn't use a muzzle brake, since the recoil on a .308 isn't significant. If you are recoil sensitive, you might need one, but a .308 is on the lower end of the recoil spectrum.

In terms of MOA, I use zero degree bases on my .308s.
