Benchmark 6.5 1-8 fluted blank

New Benchmark 6.5 1-8 twist fluted by Benchmark #4 blank. Could be finished as short as 24" if 1" removed from breech end and cut off just past the flutes. But marked as 26" finish length. Overall length is 28" and weighs 3.6 lbs. 425+18 to ship or will trade on a light weight 2 lbs or under vertical grip long action 700 footprint stock prefer standard barrel channel. .650 @ the muzzle so probably at the finish length a 3

I was trying to be optimistic, was hoping for a #3 response. I think you are correct, actually possibly a bit smaller than the #2b looking at specs for both now.

It is .670 at the end of the flutes so if given a 1" past it is just a little smaller than a 3
