Don't know a ton about these, bought one at the Harrisburg sportsman's show this spring and decided I'm not going to use it. Comes with the mounting system and everything is as new. Never shot with it on my bow.
It emits a red laser dot which you put on your target, and is activated by a small remote switch. So basically, click the switch, out the door on target, read range and hold accordingly. They say that during mid day it isn't very useful since the dot is hard/impossible to see in bright daylight.
I have decided I don't want the small weight increase on my bow or I'd keep it.
