Recently saw some posts about hunting for Elk and other animals along with seasons for Primitive Firearms.

Kind of how it all started in Europe now only the rich can hunt there. TAGS, POINTS, BUY A TAG, BUY POINTS from the Government or a landowner or Guide Service.

We have to have conversation of the animal kills so we keep a healthy population. It is all coming down to who has the most money. Elk, Deer charged by the score size of the rack $10K to $50K, Bear by how many inches, sheep by horn size $75K. I know Guide Services that show you pictures and tell you the price before you go to shoot them. They micro chip "THEIR" animals to TRACK for the prices they want.

Our WMA land is shrinking in GA and Private Lease land per acre is almost doubling from last year.

Big difference from 60 years ago.

We hunted Africa 15-20 years ago and can't believe the prices today. Everything has a price on it now. Animals that we shot for free to get rid of PESTS now need a special license & PRICE.

Are There more hunters now and less animals or just more Government Agencies Controlling!

We all want to have our children and children's children to be with nature and hunt. What are we leaving them??? Better take you retirement & savings and put in a Trust for them!

Draw tags are still affordable. Just harder to come by. And seems like some are almost once-in-a-lifetime anymore.

Its Actually not the game animal #'s that are driving this. It's the human population increase. More people and less place to go because of the value in hunting. Simple supply and demand, huge demand for hunts therefore suppliers can name the price and how it's done. That relates to government and private land holders.

This trend will continue and be a rich man's game.
