I am new to long range hunting and recently acquired a Weatherby Mark V Accumark .338 Lapua Magnum. I'm would like to get good groups out to 1000 yards and I will likely be using it mostly for elk.
Just looking for guys out there with the same rifle who are willing to share their preferred case/bullet/powder/primer combo and results. Anyone using (even finding) the Nosler 300 Accubond?
I've seen plenty of discussion regarding this rifle vs. customized, so I don't need any more of that. This is basically my "starter" rifle while I figure out what I'm doing and learn what I want later for customization.
