Get a thread pitch gauge and you know exactly what you have
Tough to determine specs with a tape measure. How about crest to crest dimension with a caliper in thousandths? Length of shank in thousandths. Finally use a thread gauge to determine threads per inch.
Here are a few dimensions maybe one is close. There are not many shank sizes as small as 7/8 in or better defined as .875" :

Looks like may also be Weatherby Mark V and possibly Sako L461 ?
