Anyone familiar with elk in area 71 WY

Great Bull! How did the Edge do? Bullet type and distance?

I shot him at 380 yards I was hoping for a longer shot but that's where he came out of the timber. I put the first round through his shoulders that put him down but he was trying to get back up so I gave him two more in the boiler room for insurance. The 300 grain elite hunters preformed excellent. One penetrated clear through to the hide on the oposite side of the bull.

Finally got a tape on my bull. He grossed 369 1/8. Not bad for my first elk I don't think.

Thanks that's what people keep telling me but its only the 2nd elk I've ever seen in the wild so I guess I got pretty lucky.
