I have a definite weakness for great Danes ,I've had a great Dane for over 35 years now
These 2 are the ol lady's the solid black female is going on 3 . In all honesty you couldn't ask really for a better dog , other than her being as clumsy as a bull in a china shop . The black and brown male is 10 months old and bigger than the female he's a holy terror most of the time. Sorry sucker came through the screen of the screen door last evening. He heard the kids playing rough and jumped through it. As I said he'd eat a man up over these two younger kids we got 2 months ago.

Yeah, she rides and jumps out from time to time. Road rash healed up fine, thanks for asking! She limps a little bit after long chases but that is becoming less frequent.Ha! Is she content to ride now instead of chase? That road rash heal up alright?

Awwwwwwe! Now, THAT'S a little pumpkin-pie right there. Not spoiled or anything, either!
For whatever reason she picks our Yorkie's bed instead of her own, Yorkie of course does not mind getting the larger bed.
This is 7 years ago but I am not sure which is having more fun, Thor or my wife ...

that one looks just like my old G.S. smartest animal I have ever seen including people most loyal also he knew what I was going to do or say before I did
I know right. He's a lot smarter than I am in training him. He turned out very well considering the breed is known to be stubborn (independent).That's precious. Must be nice to get that kind of "hands on" attention.
