Stumbled across this on youtube, thought I'd share it.

Simple and ingenious. It looks a little too fast to anneal correctly though. Using a similar torch and spinning in a K&N shell holder, flame washing over the neck and shoulder, it takes me about twice as long (6 seconds dwell time) for 750 Tempil to melt.

I was wondering if it was a bit quick also.

3 seconds? Seems pretty fast to me as well. Seems like 204 cases are 4 seconds and I think I am right at 6-7 for the 6.5-284 case. Cool idea tho.

Hi gents, quick annealing question... I had a 270 wsm shooting great but only had 20 brass... After 3 loadings ... Accuracy went south. Is the brass worked that much to degrade accuracy..and should proper annealing bring it back to life?
Thanks, Swede

I have yet to get into annealing, so can't help you. But I'd say if nobody provided an answer here, you may be better off to start your question off in a thread of its own.

Cheers

Could be, could also be that you need to bump the should back if you are only neck sizing. If you FL size and use an expander ball it is very likely you have work hardened the neck and annealing will help.
