Just finished building our house and I decided I would put in a vault room instead of packing my huge heavy safe around with me this time. I have been trying to decide what I want to do for some type of storage rack for ammo. Anyone have any good ideas? The space it's going I could fit something about 40" wide and 6'-7' tall.

I have a space like that as well. I put in shelving with label holders and dividers so I can segregate ammo by caliber, cartridge, and rifle. At the bottom I have stackable bins for spent brass by rifle to track cases by number of firings. I have 7' cabinet doors closing it in.
Would you mind giving some info on the bins and shelving?

Sure, the bins are the plastic stackable type. They have multiple sizes that are color coded by size and have a label slot. They are also wall mountable, but mine sit on the floor and bottom shelf and come out when it is time to prep the lot. The shelves are built in like the pantry with 5/8" oak and grooved so I can slide 1/8" dividers in to change the width of the cubbies to match volume of loaded ammo for a given gun. I keep most of my ammo in MTM case guard boxes and the shelves are spaced to be able to stack the mag boxes comfortably 2 high.
