Ammo for 1896 Mauser

So, a friend of mine is getting a Model 96 (made 1904) Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55. He doesn't handload.

What factory ammo for 1) whitetail and 2) hogs.

He has decided against scoping it, at least for now, so ranges will be < 200 yards or so.

For factory ammunition, mine shot this fairly well but it's out of stock right now through Norma:

Other than that, he will probably have to buy a few boxes from different brands to test for accuracy in his rifle.
