Alternative FOURMS for discussing AMERICA - Keep Politics off of LRH

Just wanted to check with everyone on LRH to see if they know of an ALTERNITIVE" POLITICAL" FORUM Websites that discusses issues on how AMERICA is LAST.
If you know of any and don't want to POST you can PM us.

We have to say that this LONG RANGE HUNTING Forum is the #1 for discussions on Hunting/Shooting/Reloading/Gunsmithing on the Internet. The facts that I post is that this Forum has:

#1 GREAT Members. The knowledge and participation on this Forum is second to none. Members are "Real Down to Earth". We have seen so many instances of Members HELPING Members. The wealth of knowledge can not be measured. From the new reloaded/hunter/shooter to the seasoned (50-60 year) member is PRICELESS. Where else can you get this kind of assistance with just about any questions one reloading/shooting/hunting/components/gunsmithing. I can go on and on with all the good here.

#2 The Technology that is put into this WebSite and the Codes written are again second to none to other similar Forums. You all know this already.

#3 The Policies & Rules for Members. If we didn't have these Policies LRH would not be a GREAT Forum. I as well as others have been on the outer limits of the Policies and Rules and GLAD that I have not been Banned. Let's all stay to the main concept of this Forum.

These times that are currently happening to our Country now are a concern to most of us. We need to remember that this is not a Political Forum and please stay within the LRH Policies.

We would like to know if anyone knows of Alternative Forums that has discussions on what is currently occurring Politically so we can keep Politics out of this LRH Forum and visit other Forums.

I agree with you, Len. I think the moderators do a fantastic job... People are people, no matter the forum. The mods keep the "family friendly" feel, here. Or else the tone could feel just like the other big gun forums.

I agree with the points made about this forum. My stomach turns with the vitriol in politics. I just returned from visiting my daughter in San Francisco. Needless to say the world I visited is far different than in this part of the country I am accustomed to. Absolutely beautiful but suffering from brain washed people that have lost perspective on what freedom really means.

Sadly political forums usually get heated... in light of the fact that 42% of hunters did not vote in the last election. In Texas, 62% of hunters did not vote. With all the "passion" and arguing about political issues on hunting forums you would think hunters would put that passion to use!

I would've thought hunters would've been much more involved or any type of shooting sports for that matter

I would be really curious as to how the % of Hunters that don't vote is determined. Can't be done during voting. There is Polling outside Voting Halls that ask which way you voted AFTER you came out. Could not determine it that way. Thats like trying to prove a Negative.
Could be done from a Polling Company like Rasmusssen's, but how would they know that you are a Hunter not voted?
I know anything where I am asked about owning Firearms like on a Medical Questioner I always say NO. Never had a Political Polling like robo calls to see which way your are voting or our concerns. Never been asked a question if I hunt and almost never if I voted.

Spouse and I just voted & mailed in our ballots and signed up to know when they are received and counted. Central coast of California.

Brother, I cannot answer that. I do know that EVERYTHING you (we) do is tracked, or has that potential. If you watched the movie "2000 Mules" it kinda puts things in perspective. IIRC, there are over 32,000 apps and marketing companies that track us socially. What we buy, what we sell, what we watch on the internet and television. Also where we go and places we frequent. They have it down to a science and establish algorythems (to sell, use and exchange) that can paint a very accurate picture of our lives. Scary and incredible at the same time.
The voting info was put out on several hunting podcasts and forums, including a post election video conference of concerned hunting personalities and "people in the know", including Don Trump jr.
I have read, heard and seen these stats on multiple venues and they are all neck and neck with each other.
A thing to remember: While we are out enjoying our passions and hobbies, "the other side" is also... and their passions and hobbies are are to defeat ours. No less. While we shoot, hunt, and fish they are expending their monies and energy to dissolve our passions... as that IS their passion.
Not here to prove or disprove anything. I just repeated stats that have been around the outdoors communities.

Unfortunately some of the posts on here can only be answered with a "politic" answer. For example people commenting on prices of components, trying to get people to boycott buisnesses, etc. This is definitely one of the least political hunting forums I have found fortunately.
