I raised/bread Golden Retrievers for family and waterfowl hunting. Also had pointers/flushers which are another breed all together.
THESE English Labs are one of the BEST Breeds for Family and Hunting. Can't beat them
If you look into the Lab Breed (Labrador Dogs) they are used in 98% of animals for Animal Assistance for people with Disabilities (Seeing Eye Dogs and all else). I know but ended up getting a Bernese Mountain Dog. He ended up being an old miserable person just like me.
Get one of these pups-you will have an extra family child for a while until he/she gets smarter than you!!!!

Thank you for the nice post! The reason I posted these pups on here is most of them end up going to folks in Seattle and Portland areas just as pets. I was hoping to get a few out to some members who would actually use them they really are the perfect mix of hunting and family dogs.

Yes but I wasn't a good learner!

Wish we could get one of these pups. Samson is still the King here. Alway have a special place in my heart for Retrievers & Pointers. All they want to do is preform well in the field getting birds. Then lay at your feet when watching TV and get you a beer out of the fridge when you need one.
I think when you look in the dictionary under "LOYALTY" if has a picture of a LAB!
