I am wondering if there is a chart somewhere that shows the effect that wind has on a bullets at different ranges. I don't know the proper name for this calculation, but I was hoping that there would be a chart that would show something like this:
Wind Speed Weight Type Velocity 100yd 200yd 300yd
10mph 100gr JSP 3000fps 1/2" 1.2" 3"
15mph 100gr JSP 3000fps 3/4" 1.7" 4"
This is just an example, of course. Maybe there is an online calculator or something that allows you to input all your bullet data and an it will spit out a chart for you. I realize that this chart (if one exist) would be only an approximate value based on averages, but it would give me something to start with. Thanks
