I just got an action to do a build on and find out you can't use a rifle action to do a pistol build. Can you change that around are am i "OBAMAED"

Sorry, you can't build a pistol on a rifle action. You have to start with a pistol action or an "non-designated" action. You can turn a pistol action into a rifle, but even then, you cannot change it back.
