Have you used the viper barrel vise to remove factory remington barrels?

Hint, they are on like glue. When putting pressure and turning the wrench, take a hammer and rap the barrel in front fo the action. That will loosen it up.

I have, factory Remingtons are pia. Wait till you try a Tikka. They must have about ft 200lbs on them.

I ordered a viper vise. I am going to get the action wrench from NSS when I order my criterion remage barrel. They have them for $60.

I like my NSS wrench. It is very sturdy and works well for the factory remingtons. Just need a good barrel vise now. Been using a pipe wrench haha.

Yessir i have. Ive had a 260ai and a 22-250ai, both shot very well. I love the remage barrels and will continue to use them.

I'm starting with a 25.06 then plan to use one for a 22-250.
