For Sale – possible trade
A-Square 30-338 Win Mag Target Rifle.
A-Square Rifle – or so I'm lead to believe that it is an A-Square.
On the left hand side of the barrel against the receiver, the gun is marked as follows:
" A / Square K.Y."
Above that:
"30-338 Win. Mag."
Above that:
"Ahlman"
1917 Enfield Receiver.
Matte Blue - Perfect bluing – 2 scratches on the floor plate
Bolt & follower not jeweled.
Super smooth trigger.
Super smooth action.
27.25" barrel to the muzzle. This includes the integral muzzle break. As far as I can determine, the break cannot be readily removed.
25.25" barrel length to the beginning of the break – so the break is 2".
Can't find my calipers right now but the muzzle diameter >.750"
Black synthetic pebbled stock – can't determine maker - has an Uncle Mike's recoil pad (for al that's worth).
Superb metal to stock fit – no gaps anywhere.
Monte Carlo, high comb.
Very Comfortable stock.
LOP = 13.75"
Gun is very heavy. It's all barrel weight.
I don't have a scale, but I'm guessing ~ 12lb +.
It's quite a bit heavier than my Rem 700 SF Sendaros.
It's a beautiful gun. I can e-mail pictures.
Currently the gun is topped with a Leupold Tactical Matte Duplex 4.5-14x40.
I haven't shot the gun since I purchased it 3 months ago.
Will sell outright for $900 firm – if it's a "real" A-Square that's a bargain – or trade for ????
The gun with the scope, bases, & rings $1,400.00
Let's talk.
