A-bolt stock swap questions

Have an A-bolt medallion grade with the fancy walnut stock and would like to swap it out with a synthetic stock. I don't like to shoot it because I am afraid to scratch up the wood.

How much lighter is a synthetic stock compared to a walnut stock?

It is chambered in 7mm rem mag and is left handed. Anybody know if anyone carries a synthetic stock for an A-bolt with these specs?

McMillan makes the Safari hunter and Safari Classic in Left hand for the A-bolt.
I have no experience with either stock, but I do share the exact same dilemma with my LH A-bolt in 7mmRem, don't want to keep scratching up my first rifle I got for Christmas 20 years ago.

I have swapped out walnut on 7mag with bell and Carlson with no fitting issues. I never even bedded it, shot good once torqued down. Redhawk rifle in Colorado usually has all colors in stock for the best price. Switching over lost a bit of weight, but not a huge difference

I had you one for trade until you laid left hand. I have seen b & c and mcmillan browning stocks though.
