Never shot anything lighter as this build was to be used with the 162 A-Max. I really thought I was going to enjoy this pistol but after sometime and having a hell of a time working up a load I eneded up selling it. I think if I did this again I would go with the 284 Win over the 7SWM, just too much powder for the short barrel and I never found anything fast enough that gave me the velocity I was looking for.

Im shooting a 284 17" barrel r19 59grns and 140 Accubonds 2870. Also shooting 300WSM 15.5" barrel H4835 63gr with 168 Bergers 3050.

The 284 is a Kirby gun it is a pleasure to shoot. The 300 was built by Eric Wallace it is a blast very accurate.
