I have a takeoff 7rum barrel. It came off of a 700 xcr so it has the Remington coating that looks like a matte SS. I can't remember the exact coating name but it's supposed to be real tough. Rifle had 25 rds through it so there is lots of life left in the barrel. $50
Great shape, no marks
