7mm LRM 180 Berger Hybrids

My guess is because it is not SAAMI.
I just necked down a Hornady 300 PRC case to 7 and it had 95 grains H20. My 7-300 Win was 94 with Nosler brass. I measure my 7 LRM at 88. I think the 28Nosler(101 grains H20) and 7-300PRC is too much for the 7. My 7-300 Win was fast but still maybe more than necessary. The LRM is a very nice compromise.

The 7-300 is a wicked round also.. loaded with 180 hybrids is deadly
I know that the 7mag will run the 180 hybrid at 3k which is also pretty wicked.
to many choices hahaha
do you know what the H2o is on the adg 7mag brass?

I don't. The only 7 rm brass I have is Norma/Nosler and it's 86.5.

I'm getting 3100 fps out of a Sako 7mm RUM with 26" tube with 180gr berger and 85gr 7828.
My Son dubbed this gun JOHN HENRY :)

By the way what is the 7mm LRM?
Gunwerks took a 375 ruger case, necked it down to 7mm, pushed the shoulder way back and shortened it a bit to create a long necked 7mm Magnum with capacity between 7 rem mag and 7mm stw. This case first came about in 2012 or so. A lot of guys had been wildcatting the 375 rug case, but the guntwerps boys had to put their own twist and give it a neck that's like .350 long. It was new, it didn't quite due what they said it would, lot of brass neck thickness issues in reference to their reamers, guys had to get things rebarreled due to whornady making brass to thick on a lot of cases or you did a lot of neck turning. I think my rifle was chambered with revision 3 of reamer design, that was in 2014 I believe. Noble idea........poorly executed. Take a 7mm blaser case, reduce the taper and give it a 40° shoulder and you'll have a high performance 7mm that's about 88-89gr capacity. I need to sell all my 7mm lrm reloading stuff, thanks for reminding me!

Thanks for the info.
I will stick with my RUM for now.
Once the barrel is gone I will most likely rebarel to a 300 or 338 RUM

In my 7mm blaser rogue (37 deg) version with 24" i had 180 at 2900 with 69g h1000. Didn't run the 180s to pressure, maybe get to 3000, add a couple inches more barrel and it would easily for sure maybe closer to 3100. This on 70ish g of powder is tough to beat imho vs 80-90g in some of these other options. Very easy to shoot all day by anyone.

That is odd to me. Both of my 7-300 wins were getting 3165 fps with 180s and 75 grains of h1000. Brass was still good after 5 reloadings.
