7mm-300wm, accurized rem 700 action, HS Prec stock, PTG bottom metal and Accurate mag, Benchmark M24 stainless 8.5 twist. Shoots 195 Berger EOL sub 1/2 and better. About 175 rounds down the tube.

Pics of 100 yd load tests, 1st 1000 yd group. Has held an easy consistent 1/2 min of angle to 1250 yds which is all I get up here.

Dennis Vantassel of Vantassel Gunsmithing did the work. lapped the lugs cleaned up the 700 action. He cut the chamber into the benchmark with brand new PTG reamer .188 freebore w/.317 neck that comes with the rifle. Bedded the lug into the HS. Barrel finished at 28". He's done good work for me on 4 other rifles that all shoot.

Accepting reasonable offers. Perhaps asking too much for a Rem700. Very accurate rifle that shoots the 180vld and 195 Berger very well. I have not fully explored the true potential of this rifle /cartridge. It is a 7mm-300win mag. No changes to cartridge dimensions ... just necked down.

Never weighed it and don't have a scale to put it on. Benchmark m-24 blank is ~6#, m700 action ~2.7#, HS stock ~2#, timney trigger assembly 1#??
---I'd say it's about 11#. I wouldn't carry it pushing deer out of a swamp but I would put it in a backpack to get up to my hide for a set.
