Starting to reload 7LRM. I have all components except most important, good quality brass. I have some once shot Gunwerks but would like a "better" brass. Gunwerks is suppose to make their own now but out of stock.
Can I just buy new in another caliber brass, anneal, and neck down and change shoulder angle with Hornady 7LRM dies? Would I use the .404 Jeffery parent case or is there another I could use?
Experts opinion very much appreciated.

Hey Travis, Thanks for info. Any other brass that would work. Someone mentioned 300 prc.
Elk Hunter, I will do that.

I have posted some 7 LRM brass for sale a while back, still have them. Search 7 LRM brass for sale and it will pop up. 48 pieces I believe. Happy to try and help you out.

Sounds good Boom. I saw your add. Let me know how much and how to get payment to you. I should get a couple reloads out of these.

Will do. Be out in the morning at a sporting clay shoot with my son but when we get back to the house I'll find them, confirm count, send you a picture to make sure you're good and we'll figure it out.

I was reading an old post about necking down a different caliber brass and changing shoulder, then cutting neck and length.
Hats off to you guys who do this! I think I'm sticking to 7LRM brass after all.
I'll keep checking for sale.
Thanks to the guys who responded to my original "dumb--s" post.

Confirmed, I have 48 pieces of Gunwerks 7LRM brass. Looks like I cant PM you due to number of posts. Just call me if you'd like. Chris, 803/606-2500.
