Just picked up a Richard Franklin Custom Varmint in 7 WSM. Has a Spencer bbl in 1/9 twist. Would like to use heavy bullets. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Forgot to ask this, could you give us some specs on your rig like what Action, Barrel, Stock, ect are you using.

What powders do you use, and will it fill the case? Also is brass drying up due to the Jamison thing?
The action is a Win mag, push feed single shot. The bbl is 27" 6 lands and grooves with a Harrel on the end. The stock is one of Richards heavy, laminated Varmint stocks. Don't know about the chamber yet, but will cast it.

My go to powder is Retumbo, it fills the case well. Also had good luck with r22 and h4831sc.Brass is not a problem.

Thanks for all the info fellas. Brass and bullets arriving next week. Still in the process of cleaning, measring and mounting. This rifle was bought off this site from a friend at work and never fired. You can see a picture on page 353 in the Guns For Sale if you're interested.
