Mounted this on my bow for a few shots, never even got the range finding capability dialed in. Really, really like the retina lock concept. If you haven't seen it, it's basically an optical dot that you get lined up with on the top of the housing, when centered a black dot shows in the middle. Seems like a great way o improve consistent hold.

I need to look it up but what does it do light up the correct pin based on the range?

No worries!

You basically align the rangefinder to range where the 20 yard pin is, during the sight in process.

Once it's all sighted in, you put your 20 yard pin on your intended target, then push the range finder button (you can stick the button wherever you want on the bow). The range finder displays the distance to intended target, and then you use the corresponding pin like you would with a traditional sight.

It basically just eliminates the need to range the target then pick up the bow, etc. Eliminates a bunch of movement, and is handy if hunting and the animal moves away from where you ranges it before you could shoot, etc.

No problem! To be honest, I love everything about it.... Except it's a little heavy. Love the retina lock concept, love the 7 pins, nice big housing, feels rugged... Just a little heavy for me. Which I feel kind of silly complaining about compared to the weight I carry with rifles sometimes lol

It's tempting trust me. I'm looking for a new sight for my hunting bow. Problem is there's so many options I actually didn't know about the one you have. I thought I had it narrowed down
