Grand kids wanted to do some deer hunting but only had one suitable "deer capable" AR, so I took a seldom used 5.56 and built it into a 6.5 Grendel.
Then found that a 7.62x39 could partially chamber and might fire out of battery...so decided to just have two 6.5 Grendel.
So here is what I have;
20" CM barrel
Adapter 1/2x24 to reverse M14 thread
RPK style flash hider
7.62X39 BCG (complete)
7.62X39 Lee die set (crimp, FL sizer, seater, shell holder and powder scoop)
Full floated round knurled hand guard w/nut

I wanted to use a Russian style Flash hider on the build so I got a guy to make me an adapter...it is unscrewed in the above picture for reference. So it can be removed.
