I'm having a hell of a time getting 110 smks to shoot in my 7 twist 6mm Rem. I've tried three different powders so far..
I've got some RL26 that I want to try, does anyone have a starting load?

Tagging along. The last time I loaded for the 6mm, IMR4064 was my go to with 100gr. Btsp. That was more than a few years ago.

I am almost 50 and grew up with two powders in the house. 4064 and 4895. We ran the 4895 in the .270's and 30-06's and the 4064 in the 22-250 and 6mm's.
After I left home, I stayed with that powder for a few years. I remember going to H4350 and It made me feel like I changed churches. Lol.
I'm way over that nowadays.

If I had a 6mm to load for, I would want to try H4831sc or R19 for the heavies. Or at least start there

Prepare to be amazed with RL26 in the 6mm Rem. I'd start at 45 and work up to pressure, expecting your load to end up around 47-48 grains. I'm betting you'll be well north of 3200 fps with a 110 grain bullet.

Thanks I appreciate it!
