I don't know, if you start him off with top tier equipment, it take that variable out of the equation. At least that's my excuse for all of my Anschutz, Cooper, Sako, KIDD and Volquartsen rimfires...

I'm curious what the rifle weighs? I've considered building almost the exact same rifle in either 6mm Creedmoor or 6.5 Creedmoor. If I hadn't just purchased an AI AT and a S&B PM II to go on top of it, I'd be buying this one in a heartbeat.

Dressed ready to shoot it's 8-7/8 lbs on my digital bathroom scale. Don't really know how accurate that is, however, its light in my hand or on my shoulder.
