First time testing N570 in the 6PRC, and I haven't seen anyone else test it yet either. So figured I'd share.

A full case is 61gr. so that's what I loaded up. I know H1000 doesn't pressure out until 58-59gr. in this barrel, so I knew 61gr. N570 would be safe.

Built by @Barehandlineman11 at High Voltage Armory with a .200 freebore reamer.

24" 7.75 twist Muller Works barrel

I haven't tried N570 in 6.5 PRC. I have a lot of it that I use in RUM's. N560 and N565 work well but have my CDC dial set up for RL26 and 156 Berger. A drop tube for sure with N570. I may try.
Thanks !

Just trued up those 109 ELDM's at 1000 yards. Using the advertised .295 G7 BC, the centerline of my group was 3" above the bullseye. I shot 9 shots, and they held 4" of vertical dispersion. So the data is decently solid. Have to add 20 FPS to my data to actually bring the group down.

A 6mm .295 G7 BC bullet going 3300+fps is pretty legit.

Are you liking the Manners Pro Hunter any better or are you just using it while waiting for another stock?
Just using it while waiting for another stock. I almost bought an alpine hunter the other day to swap it out. But it's just a money thing. I shoot it well enough to not want to spend $800-$1000, but I don't genuinely like anything about it really lol

I wouldn't mind doing a 6 PRC, it'd be a wonderful round for elk on down for me here in Montana. More than likely I'd use a different powder than N570. Pretty sure I could get 2K rounds give or take out of one. Probably have to give up 100 fps or so but I'd gladly do so in order to get the barrel life.

I've done a ton load of work with the 6/06 and years back (about 30 or so) a hunt buddy used a 6mm Arnold which was a 7 RM necked down to 6.

One can have a world supply of fun with one of the bigger 6's:)

Yeah N570 definitely isn't necessary. I have a solid load with H1000 also and it super mild on the throat. After 150 rounds of H1000 it's barely got 1/16" of cracking at very beginning
