This barrel is a 6.5 RSAUM barrel threaded for a Defiance Deviant action. Chambered by Moon at Crescent Customs. It's 24", 8 twist, Sendero contour, metal is cerakoted Elite Smoke, has a CB30 TBAC brake correctly timed by Moon, muzzle theaded 5/8x24. This was chambered with the GAP 4S reamer, so .081 free bore. Has 128 rounds through it. The picture is 7 shots into 4" (2" vertical) at 745 yds, which I shot today just to take the picture to show how it shoots.

I had Moon build me a rifle almost 2 years ago and had 2 barrels fitted thinking I would switch barrels for different situations. I never change the barrels and always just shoot the 300WSM barrel for hunting, so this one just sits. Thought I'd see if anybody can use it. This barrel setup like this would cost $1300 to build new.

Prices...
Barrel alone is $500
Barrel with TBAC brake is $600
Barrel with brake and the following brass/ammo is $800.

78 - once fired Hornady brass
22 - 147 eldm loaded by Sendero ammo in new Hornady brass.
50 - once fired Atlas Dev Group brass
50 - brand new Atlas Dev Group brass (same lot as fired brass).

I won't sell the brass until the barrel sells. Not looking for trades at this time.

All prices are shipped, and PayPal friends and family is preferred payment method (though I will consider others).

Thanks

New to this custom rifle builds so excuse the ignorance, but I'm assuming this wouldn't work with a Remington 700?

It has the same thread pitch and thread diameter as a standard R700 action (and many other custom actions) , but with an R700 it would almost certainly need to be fitted by a gunsmith to the action to ensure proper headspace. $200 would be a reasonable estimate for fitting to a different action as long as it had the same thread pitch, but to be sure it's best to consult with the gunsmith that you would have do the work.

I have a 700 sa that I'm looking to switch from a creed to a SAUM or PRC. If you think this would work, I interested. Even if it would cost a little to fit it.

Probably move the conversation to a PM. I'm not a gunsmith, but if you are running 6.5 Creedmoor now, you also have the wrong sized bolt face. So it's not a trivial thing to go from a R700 SA standard bolt face to a short mag. There are options, but they all cost money, so you are probably better off buying a different barrelled action than buying this barrel and fitting it to your action. Hope that helps.

The brake works fine. I only shoot with a supressor, and this is the brake used to attach the Thunderbeast can, so I can't really give you a comparison as I've got the same brake on every rifle I own.
