Anyone shooting or reloading for this? It is the easiest way to get near magnum performance from your 1911

I have an ACE customs 45 super. Great shooter, easy to load for too.

External it's identical to 45acp,the brass tho for the super is thicker,Starline still Carrie's ItI think.
You can take your basic 1911 and have the main spring changed to24 lb,also firing springs changed and recoil buffer installed, I clocked a 185 hp at 1399 fps out of mine I believe Underwood has the loaded ammo

No I have not but I am pretty sure I know of it I think Clarks does a conversion to your 1911 for a pretty decent price

if you really want a 45 mag. Look into these, I found one last year at an estate sale with all the dillion reloading blocks. I never knew that existed.

I have a custom 911 that I use a compensated barrel and bigger spring for your +P+ rounds. I would tend to say that they are hard on pistols. Like I have a Ruger black hawk .357 for quick draw competition. The whole gun has become loose over the years from 1000 and 1000's of rounds
