I'm looking for a good .41 mag load recipe
I'll be using Matt's hard cast lead Keith style.225 grain bullets these would be a hunting round
I'll be shooting them from a Thompson Center Contender pistol Gen1
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Let's try it again....

This is my TC Contender
With the .223 barrel, the .41 mag barrel is next to it that'll be my hunting barrel
I'm going put a Hawke Reflex Red Dot sight on it

My load for silhouettes was 13.5 Blue Dot behind a Lyman 410459cast bullet with CCI 350 primers. Would shoot 4 1/2 to 5 inch group @200 meter ram line. Cant remember ever missing a shoot off chicken @ 200 meters. Not to say I never missed one. Velocity was 1405 from a 8" Dan Wesson. Never shot that load from my TC.

RCBS makes a 210 SWC mold, can't remember the number. Has a larger meplat than the Lyman, but I could never get it ti shoot as well.

Seaco has a 220 TC with a gas check that I got going 1501 with 20.5 grains of Lil Gun, again from a 8" revolver. Accuracy was good, but not great.

I made a 245 TC mold myself. groups opened up beyond 100 yards. But that bullet is not available,
