Getting a new barrel put on a gun and going the 4 R route of barrel contour. Its going to be a hawk hill barrel, (They only do 4R). my questions is the following.
1st. I've read somewhere that 4 R rifling can affect certain thin jacketed bullets. (high velocity bullets). with that being said I mainly will be shooting either a 210 accubond or 210 VLD. >30 cal with 10 twist.

2nd. Are their any advantages on shooting 5r vs 4r.

Thanks and sorry if this has already been discussed

BR guys win comps with 4 groove barrels all the time. IME almost everyone I've heard saying they will blow up some bullets/5r is so much better for accuracy has
1. Never seen it happen
2. Never known anyone it happened to
3. Read it online from someone who also qualifies for 1 and 2.

It's fine.
