easy to make from any belted brass. 300 WM is very common.

What about the shoulder junction---any difficulties? I use Imperial Die Wax......my "Ideal" would be a 338 Norma Mag (Based off the belted 300/358 Norma Mag), as I do prefer longer necks.

I reformed a lot harder ones than that. Anneal the neck. Run into 338 die w/o stem in it. Fireform with COW.

Cream of wheat works well. I built my Brother a swell M98 in 6mm-06 Ackley with a nice maple stock. ☺
