338 Lapua Defiance, Proof

Putting up my "light" 338 lapua. Have been shooting 300 gr berger .5 moa and better, which was the bullet I originally set the rifle up for. Has shot 300 gr Accubond .3s also. Going with a suppressed rig, not practical with the 338 to hunt. Throated 50 thou short to allow plenty of room in the box. Exactly 300 rounds down the pipe. If you wanted could throat out to standard and it'd be like a new rig. Accubonds are stuffed way down there. However, shoots normal book velocities on 10% lower charges.
11.6 lb with box in. Recoil is very mild.

Few notes. The scope has a scratch that looks nasty, about 3/8" on the lense. Can't see it when shooting, doesn't affect performance. Can't get a pic that shows it. Stock, scope and rings show normal signs of wear. Stock has some paint missing in a few spots. It had a run in with 100% deet and lost. Cerakote on bolt and knob has seen normal wear. I list this not to detract but to inform. I'm a bit anal about that. I think my total price accounts for it. Would cost more just to buy all the parts.
Can throw in a new set of hornady bushing dies for $75 additional.

I once owned that scope so that should help the value to haha. In all honesty the scratch he is talking about is completely un noticeable and does not affect function at all.
