What is the best action to build a 338 lapua, RUM or Edge on?

It's a long term project so no big hurry
Looking for a not too expensive action like a 700 or such.

Savage action will do all you need. But if you want to true up a Remmy, go for it.

Any of them. My cousin uses a short action target action. It will eject a fired case, but you have to pull the bolt for a loaded round. Savage actually produces 3 different Lapua's right now. I personally like the Savage Arms Firearms > 10/110 FCP HS Precision. Should I ever buy one, this is the one I would get. It's much more affordable than the BA model. The Lapua actions are little longer and heavier than the normal LA. The normal actions will work just fine.
