300wm owners,try retumbo

hi there fellas,
was out shooting yesterday morning,shot 9 different loads(2 bullets,5 powders) from my savage 300wm at 550 yards.was a descent morning,had 3 loads at or under moa. the best was with retumbo,208 amax,win brass,ccibr2 primers. 3 shots 2.750 center to center. first load i've shot with retumbo.i was backed off of listed max 5 grains and still had an average velocity of 2890 fps. i saw other threads with retumbo being used in 300 wm and heavy bullets with good results. decided to try it. i'm glad i did. jason

I might have to try some of that. I've been using IMR 4350 with WIN cases and CCI mag primers shooting 200gr. SMK's. And it's doing pretty good out to 735 yards. How many grains are you using of powder? Thanks for the heads up.
