Trued RR Prefix Action with 8-40 rail screw update
Nightforce 40 MOA Picatinny Rail with 8-40 screws
Bolt retains factory extractor
Barrel is the Lilja MK13 Mod0 contour, 4 groove, 10-twist, 27", exactly 100 rounds fired
All metal coated in FDE Cerakote
5/8x24 muzzle threads (very dirty from shooting through a can)
Trigger is a standard, run-of-the-mill Timney single stage
This rifle was originally a MK13 Mod 0 Clone that I purchased with 73 rounds on it. The MK13 recoil lug was removed to sell with the MK13 parts kit and correct vintage receiver and was replaced with the same thickness PTG lug (0.252") to preserve correct headspace. I torqued it into an AICS chassis and shot 27 rounds through it to see how it would perform in its new configuration. A random load that shot very well for me in a completely different rifle (chambered by a different smith) shot a five-shot group well under MOA at 809 yards. This was using H1000, CCI250s and 208 ELD-Ms. With load development it would have to improve on an already accurate load.
