300 wby action help

hey I have a vangaurd/ howa action in 300wby mag. my problem is that I can't put long bullets in the gun because they don't fit in the floorplate. does anyone know if I can buy a larger floorplate, or any options I could do

The Weatherby cartridges were designed by Roy Weatherby to have a long free-bore and therefore a long bullet jump to reach the lands. This cartridge needs the bullets seated pretty deep in the cases. I would advise making the cartridges to an OAL that will fit the magazine. Seating that far off the lands sometimes requires more load development than one would normally expect but they can be made to shoot accurately. This may not be what you want to hear but that is my advise.
