.300 rum ballistics

First of all I will never use moly coated bullets in any of my rifles again, while there are some improvements, they simply are not worth it.
Everytime you shoot molied bullets and not scrub your barrel thoroughly, I mean thoroughly, not a few passes of nitro solvent on a patch.
Buildup of moly occurs in the barrel and attracts moisture resulting in rust, shoot it again and moly coats the rust and you will not get it out by a few casual "should be enough" passes.
What you will eventually get is pitting in the barrel and not know it.

The selling point of moly is "easier cleaning" well, sorry boys I don't buy it, (pun intended)..

My Rem 700 LSS .300 RUM has shot a 3.5" 3 shot group at 800 yards with the 150g Combined Technology B-tip. Consistent .5" groups at 100 yards. So much for the RUM not liking the lubalox coating.
