FWIW, I wish I had a name for you - but there is a guy on VA gun show circuit that had Dakota Arms branded 300 Dakota ammo (2-3 boxes) last time I went to a Fishersville show.

Another long shot - have you called Hendershot's? They load for and have brass for some cartridges that make the 300 Dakota seem like a standard.
