3-9 vs 2.5-10 trijicon accupoints info needed

I have the 5-20x50 trijicon accupoint model and couldn't be happier. I plan to buy either a 2.5-10x56 or the 3-9x40. I had planned on buying the 2.5-10. I understand exit pupil, etc. However, I am interested who has looked through them both in real world situations and compared the low light difference. The eye relief is a little less of course on the 3-9 also. Anyway, any experience would be appreciated.
