285gr 338 eldm

My son has a 338x378, and weve found that at 1500 yds, the 285 Hornadys and the 300 bergers will both hit the same rock with about the same number of clicks on the scope.
In his gun at least, the Bergers are slightly more consistent as for accuracy at that distance, so thats what he uses.
Most of the guys i know however are using 250s due to better velocity, so by all means try those also.
But at least the 250 SMKs didnt shoot well in my sons gun.
