280AI velocity ?

What velocity can i expect w/a 28" broughton 5c barrel w/a stout load under a 162gr Amax w/lapau brass ??

I would say that 3000 fps it completely realistic possibly up to 3200fps , I have heard of guys with regular 6 groove 30" barrels getting this with Lapua cases and Vihtavuori N-560 powder.

I now a guy thats shooting a 280 Ai with this powder and swears buy it. I have used the N-165 with great results in alot of guns it would also be a good choice for this case

Thanks James 3,000 fps is what i was hoping for !

I've never tried the vit-- powder if my 4831 sc doesn't work out i'll try a can of the 560..
