Never thought i'd chop this one but as usual, need to fund a different build.

280 Ackley, trued rem 700 long action
McMillan Game Hunter, Kuiu dip, bedded to action professionally
Douglas #4 barrel, 25", 8.5 twist, recessed target crown, blued and lightly polished by DE
Triggertech primary
BDL bottom metal
Bare rifle 7 lb 3 oz
Barrel and action work done by Dennis Erhardt

Rifle shoots very well, 2/3 moa is easy at 100 yards with my hunting load, 160 federal trophy bonded tipped. They are running right at 3100 fps with RL26. Round count from my targets puts me right at 240 - 250, this was never hot rodded and barrel was always cooled during load development. This is a great hunting rifle, shot a cow elk with it two years ago and dropped her in her tracks. I'm downsizing my arsenal and trying to fund a full custom build on a 300 win mag.

Has a few nicks on it in the kuiu dip but otherwise in excellent shape.

Rifle only - $1500 $1450 shipped OBO
Rifle, dies, used brass, talley 1" rings - $1550 $1500 shipped OBO

Cash sale preferred.
I would consider trade on a custom action 300 win barreled action or rifle, 9 twist preferred. Want something of moderate weight for hunting.

This is an old target I found, not my final load but working through the beginning stages. My first days of reloading overall.

How does that sightron track? Not interested in buying but just curious. I've had several sightron none AO, but SF. Hard to beat for the money.
