I am thinking of having of having a 280 AI built. The smith says it will be reamed as a conventional 280 AI and not on the Nosler SAMMI version. Question, what are the consequences of firing the Nosler brass in the regular AI version? (It seems that most people with a 280 AI built years ago before there were two versions have been using the new Nosler brass with no issues.)

There was an extensive thread on this somewhere around here, I think the consensus was there is not much difference and the main one is the reference datum point for the shoulder, but I am old and my memory may not be accurate. LOL
